Joe Hachem 2005 World Series of Poker Winner |
Joe Hachem considered himself a hobby poker player prior to his World Series of Poker win in 2005.
He did pay the $10,000 buy-in himself and did the near impossible and beat out the largest World Series of Poker field at the time. He bested 5,619 other hopefuls and won an astouding $7.5 million.
Joe Hachem was born in Lebanon but now resides in Melbourne, Australia. He is married and a father of four. Prior to becoming a professional poker player Joe Hachem was a chiropractor.
Hachem like Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer is now a spokesman for Poker Stars. Both Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer won their buy-in's to the World Series of Poker through Poker Stars
