AJPoker Staking - Stakers Help |
Stakers - Getting Started |
| | To begin staking players visit the Manage Your Stakes Interface.
You must have the Poker Room Username that you wish to offer stakes at added to your profile before you can submit a new stake to the AJPoker database.
1. Choose from the following Poker Room's to stake at:
Poker Stars - Minimum Stake $0.10
Full Tilt Poker - Minimum Stake $5.00
Absolute Poker - Minimum Stake $10.00
Vegas Poker 247 - Minimum Stake $10.00
Cake Poker - Minimum Stake $5.00 (Max 1 Transfer/Day)
Poker.com - Minimum Stake $5.00
2. Input a Stake Name of your choice (Example: Saturday FullTilt 3k).
3. Choose the Game Type from the dropdown lists.
4. Enter the details and requirements for your stake. (Tourney Id, Rail thread, etc.)
5. Enter the dollar amount of your stake.
6. Enter the split for the stake.
7. Choose the number of stakes you would like to offer.
Note: If you entered a split of 50/50 + Stake for a $5.00 SNG and your Player won $40.00, they would be expected to ship back $22.50 ($40 - $5 / 2 = $17.50 + $5) and keep $17.50 for themselves.
Once you have submitted your stake it will be given a unique "Stake Id" and added to the Stake Database with a status of "Open" and will be available for Players to view and apply for your consideration. A forum thread will also be created automatically
in the Official Stake Threads Forum.
Your new stake (and all subsequent stakes created by you) will now be viewable on the Manage Your Stakes page by clicking "View Current Stakes", the view can be toggled on and off.
To view the details of the stake click the Id next to each of your stakes. From the detail page you can view the players that have applied, add notes, and "Ship It" once you have chosen a player. Players are always listed in order of their ranking from best to worst.
When you choose the player for the stake a PM will be sent notifying them of your choice. You should then transfer the stake to them. If you require a "rail thread", the player can post to the Official Thread all details of their poker play.
Once the player has completed the stake, you can submit results, inputting if they won or lost, how much they "Shipped Back", if they Rolled you, and any other details you would like to add.
Note: It is very important for stats and player rankings that you submit results from your Stakes in a timely manner when they have been completed.
Winning Players will be given 1 point for each dollar that they Shipped Back which will be used to determine their Ranking.
Losing Players will be deducted 1 point for each dollar that they Lost which will be used to determine their Ranking.
Players that Roll on their stakes will be given the worst ranking possible and all previous points will be removed leaving them with a "Red" Ranking.
Players that have been Members of AJPoker.com less than 30 days AND are Unproven will be shown as Purple.
Players that have fewer than 15 Posts in the Forum AND are Unproven will be shown as Pink.
Note: Do Not submit Stakes with a requirement that Players sign up through an affiliate or Refer a Friend link. You will be immediately banned and your Stake removed if you do this.
For answers to additional questions please see the Stake FAQ Forum.
